Photographer: Chris M.  (Karma=2073)
Ruhr Area,  GERMANY

About: I'm a german amateur, who entered photography as a teeny with a Yashica FR. I had a small photo lab together with two friends and was only interested in B&W. Then came a pause of more than 20 years.

Since Jan 2001 I'm back on the block with a Canon G1 and since May 2002 with a Canon D30, too. I kept these two cams for IR works, because since summer 2013 I mainly use a Canon 6D for everything else ... full frame finally.

My main interests are infrared color photography, nightshots, oldtimer races and macro ... but not only. ;-)

BTW ... just to avoid mentioning this below several of my photos ... in the beginning of 2002 I created a new digital infrared style by exchanging the red and the blue channel of an IR color shot against each other. I named this style IR CHANNEL SHIFT, which is nowadays usually called IR Channel Swap.
Check my first two submitted images to get a feel for it.
