Lovely. Looks like a magic garden.
Thank you for your comment on my photo, but my autoportrait was not a painful one. On the contrary, I was relaxing after a beer on the deck of a small ship on the Danube. However, when we came home from that trip my wife, Rachel, was diagnosed with lung cancer & she is the one with pain. I am now in the process of translating a book of hers, originally written in Hebrew, where she describes her internment in an internment camp on Mauritius between ages 3 & 8 (1940-45) to English. The book will be called "Sweet Lemons" & will hopefully be published in a few weeks.

I see it is bad to have to work on Christmas and new years, but yes some of use do have to work, and sometimes for less than we are worth. I remember I started out fresh out of high school for 75 cents a hour at a 5 and dime store, but know one make much more back then, I worked as long as I was able. I guess this day and time you are lucky to have a job. I use to work at sewing Factorys but there isn't any of them around that I know of. Any way I want to wish you and yours a Happy New Year. Yes spring is beautiful, I know that there is beauty even in the winter, but I don't much like
