Wonderful image of so strong and enduring dogs running in so cold environment( I can hardly imagine this real nature with so low temperatures...we had about -23 in our town this winter for few days ,and it was quite freezing..)

Those temperatures are rough on camera batteries. Didn't seem to bother the dogs though. They're just getting warmed up! Nice shot!

Nice action, Dave - with the snow being kicked up by the dogs. I like the fence foregrond as it gives more sense of perspective. Despite the cold, the sun gives the scene some sense of warmth.

Hi Larry, thanks for the comment! I used ISO 200 here. The batteries die pretty quickly, so I keep the camera inside my coat until I'm ready to shoot.

Wow, what a wonderful dog sled team! I love the dog's enthusiastic attitude, and the way you captured them running. And it was really cold by any standards! That didn't stop them, they seem pretty happy. Great image Dave, with wonderful lighting and background. Excellent foreground too, with the fence and the snow. How long do your batteries last in that cold? Mine seem to die fairly quickly below zero.

A really good sports shot -- at first I wasn't sure if I liked the fence in the photo, but after looking at it more - it add to the scene. Also this had to be a tough shot with all the snow - and you got a lot of detail. Great Job!
