About The grey bush reminds me of the steel grey clouds that promise snow over New England. This is a reflection inverted with the bush in the foreground instead of being on the ground now in the air. Just added a bit of color and took out some in Photoshop Elements. Thanks for looking.

Feel like Goldilocks. I did crop a lot of the original picture. This is probably about 1/4 of the original if that. Im glad you saw what I was going for, but the "cloud" I thought if I left too little it wouldn't feel like a snow cloud or snow, it would feel vague and a promise to me isn't vague.. I also didn't want it to feel like a border, I wanted more presense. Also there is a big dark area to the left. I was trying to balance the picture as best I could. I'm sorry it didn't work for you, thanks for the comment and viewpoint. I will play with cropping a bit more though. Maybe next time ?

Mark I see what you're striving for here, but as a viewer unfamiliar with the environment it's tough to make that connection. I think I would find the out of place grey brush less distracting if there were less of it. Perhaps cropping the majority of it out might tease the viewers eye, yet let the eye rest on the great color present from the reflected trees.
