Excellent compositon and perspective... Love the tones and dramatism... Very moving...

There must be a lot of inhabitants asking for forgiveness or at least I hope so... Great idea of representing the eternal suffering... and remembering the victims of the holocaust...

Cheers,

MaLuisa

I appreciate someone who is not afraid of breaking the "rules" of framing photographs to give us what is essentially a vertical panorama. It is perfect for this intriguing image. But to see what you saw in the image implies an unusually strong imagination...

I think it is a great shot and it is interesting to me to know where it was but the speculation and story suggestions is taking it too far for me.

Very moving and strong. Before I read the comment I thought this and after even more.
The crop is great, usually such tall crops don't work well, but this is perfect.
Sorry I've been absent. too much work, too much travel!

By the way, if find the figure rather ominous. Perhaps it is because the locale is identified, but I think the image carries the rather frightening feeling on its own.
