Went to the Magna Centre in Rotherham today. Its a sad place - the old British Steel Melting Shop which is all but dead now. I remember it when thousands of men worked 3 shifts a day here producing thousands of tons of steel each day.
All thats left is a few of the old machines, a sound and light show and a superb science activity centre for the kids.
This is in the FIRE science lab and is a fire tornado. The entrance to the chamber is through a steel tunnel.
