Good points, both. It was very diffuse light but single source. A reflector would have helped soften the effect. The leaf placement you suggest set the smaller at an odd angle, but I agree in principle and perhaps ought to have worked it. Thanks for looking and for your thoughtful suggestions, Stefan.

Fall leaves really are quite photogenic... I like this but I have two suggestions. Technically I think a more diffuse light source might have prevented the reflections I see in the big leaf. For the concept of being together I think I would have put the "stem" of the larger leaf under the smaller one. Pretty minor stuff obviously, but there you have it.
