Taken this morning on Lindisfarne. The mussel fisherman was waiting for the tide to float his boat, and just pre-dawn the tide freed him up for the days work. The image on the left is the small stream running through Lindisfarne harbour, taken about 15mins after dawn.
I would appreciate your thoughts on the two triptych submissions - which do you like best?
Totally different mood on this one Keith but of course you had much better ingredients and natural beauty to deal with. I wish people would not show pics of Northumberland otherwise every one will want to come. Stunning images each and every one.
I don't know, Keith, they are so very different. This one is the more conventional triptych, but the frames within the picture of the Lake District, with details of the larger view, was very effective in its different way. I'm afraid I have to say "dead heat" as I like them both. If I HAD to say which, though, I think maybe the story line in this one holds it together and thus gives a stronger unity. And that might swing the verdict. But it's a very close thing.
