Thank you, dear Robert :) I never know why people like an image more than another? This one seems to be one of those unexpected ones.

Hi Ina, I hope that you don't think that I was saying that you should stay away from collages! Not at all! I think your first one is great, and hope to see more! I agree with the smallness issue, but some multiple shots just scream "collage" as Susie's work testifies!

Thanks Kathy :) I agree the collage isn't my "thing." It sometimes serves my purpose of showing two aspects or more of the same subject, but it's more images like this one that I like to do. Lots of thanks, Ina

Hello, Endre, I keep posting like crazy, until winter, when not much color is left here to photograph... it becomes all naturally "desaturated." Thanks for all your comments! Ina

Mighty fine description, I must say to the above message, one has quite a bit of knowledge of one's architectural elements :)

Hi Ant, and welcome back! Today I have photographed the countryside, lovely fall colors. Incongruity, that's a good word. It's Mr. Rogers' neighborhood.

This is a great composition of incongruity Ina. We have here: gorgeous baked red brick with fine lime mortar-work and a lovely carved-brick dripstone moulding atop; modern window blinds; a beautiful lintel above with scrolled wooded brackets; and at left what seems to be faux plastic rooftiles over a frame topped with wooden spinels. What fresh Hell is THIS?

Hi Daniel, the roof was naturally crooked, leaning on one side, so I distorted the rest a little, to resemble a cubist hand-made perspective. Very astute!!!

I can see the image is straight. But parts of the architecture is crooked! Is it me? Awesome Image! Well done my friend!
