You could be right in some instances, I tend to try it at the camera (while taking the photo) by using the light metre and then underexposing the image by half or even sometimes a full F stop (in really bright conditions), I find this can really bring out the colours more vividly. Have a trial and see what you think.

Hi Mike, thanks for your comments. You are right about the bright sky. I hate when there is no clouds at all. I could have tried some more shots but I did not want the lady to understand I am taking her picture, not to make her feel uneasy. As for increasing the saturation, when I do that I think the picture looses its sharpness, what do you think?

Beautiful scenery Emin, you have shot using your own brush here, THe sky top left is fairly bright given what your light was, and your shutter speed, I would consider speeding the shutter up (no more than 1/60) and allowing less light in for this shot, and increasing the contrast in the shot as well. Nicely done.
I took this shot and had a bit of a play in Photoshop to increase the saturation a little, what do you think? I might have overdone it a little..
