Thanks Gayle,
It's always a debate in my mind while choosing aperture between getting the background blurred and the fly completely in focus. Do you think a smaller aperture by 1 stop would have affected the amount of blur of the background by much?

hi, i like the little shadow,the dof and the diagonals, but think it should be a sharper focus on the dragonfly...i love them,too,and was told once that they are symbols of good luck!
