Welcome to the advertising commercials world! Here's the first sample of images I just shot during a commercial filming I've just been to. I love the background mood only a movie set has and decided to try to capture it today with my Canon S100. Right in front is the director, to the left his first assistant. Hope you enjoy this serie.
One thing I discovered was that shooting with it 1/3 stop underexposed colors get much more interesting, darks are deepers, bright areas clearer, just like underexposing slide film, requiring very little post processing. From now on I'll use it that way.
Now I see from where you get all those amazing saturated colors! I believe 1/3 less on digital reduces noise on shadow areas also, which adds mood to the image.
