Hola Nacho!
Que bellos paisajes estas mostrando, me encantaron, tiene una cierta similitud a lo que aca conocemos como los Saltos del Petrohué, en el sur de Chile...
Tengo una fotos de ahi, pero mi scaner no tiene mucha resolucion y la calidad de las fotografias no sería muy buena...

Oh, what a technical challenge you have in this shot, Nacho!
Mixed strong light, deep shadows AND a waterfall! The only hope I see would be to set your camera for -2 EV, ISO 50 or 100 to eliminate all noise, and then restore the shadows in photoshop. Sadly, the whites can not be recovered.
Just a suggestion for next time...
