I really like the opening between the trees at the back and the meeting of the sky and ground at that point. It is like an invitation to explore and has a sense of a never ending space. The plants at the front are lovely. Mary

Peter, excuse the late response - after my holidays I had a busy week... Thanks for your comment - the stitching was with PtGUI 3.7, a graphical user interface (easy, but powerful, works with 16 bit TIFFs !) for H. Dersch?s Panotools. Probably the best stuff available, but nothing for a "quick and dirty" job ;-) The multi-image TIF generated by PtGUI was worked up with PS, as layered image, the transition zone between the layers (near and far shot) can be defined witht the brush tool, so you can work around doublettes and other artifacts. Have a nice weekend ! Carsten

Sharp from the front to the back. I find this a very good technique for overall sharpness. What software did you use to stitch them together? And how do prevent the wind disturbing the field between the two photo's? I can imagine the 2 photo's not fitting after the slightest breeze. The final result is very good though!!!

Wonderful sepia. Those detailed white blossoms are gorgeous against the peaceful background, dark trees and glorious cloudy sky. Antonia

What a neat idea - unlimited depth of field! I particularly like the opening in the trees and their contrast with the clouds - nice toning too!
