John this is really something.. you've put me to shame in what has become my favorite style of shooting. The shot itself makes me think of some giant bingo game :). I agree with Kevin when he says 'perhaps now I will see a tiny portion of your sight in my eyes next time I pick up the camera.' The fact that you said I was inspiring for this shot is a true honor because I look up to your work. Thanks for all of your feedback you've given me through this site, it's been a real pleasure trading comments.

'My best'
Keith :P

VERY COOL and artsy composition, I like it.

And of course I know it's all because of that "YEP LENSE".......they do it every time!! LOL!!!

I especially like the rope, maybe because it's against the dark background.
Very nice work, John,
Have a GR8 evening,
Lori :)

...wonderful image...I love forms and color and tones and shapes...this is truly a wonderful and creative image...the idea you had to create this speaks in and of itself...see an image and the mind starts to work it's way of magic to pull ideas from here and there - the things you've seen and heard - all come together to create a piece of art...we are all one if we only look and see what each other has to offer and take only a tiny pice to create our own piece of heaven...great shot...perhaps now I will see a tiny portion of your sight in my eyes next time I pick up my camera...Kev

John, you're always surprising me with your creative shots. I really like how you've isolated the subject against the black. Great texture and form, the rope seems to be pulling the crate into the picture, I'm sure that was your intention, brilliant cropping to bring such movement into the image. But...this is a very strong graphic image and the framing competes against the composition (IMHO). What do you think about a much simpler frame?
great abstract

Randy
