About After the storm rolled over this area it smelled strongly of wet grass and bailed hay. AS I drove down the highway looking for subject matter this field came to view all lit up from a distant hole in the clouds. I was lucky to capture this scene before the light waned

Tim:

Read some of the names of the people weighing in on this one and I think you have a good roster of some of the best photographers in this forum. I can only agree with them.

Hi Tim,
for: sky, light, soft colors, pleasure when looking at;
against: this empty space between the first hays and the background hays - it is too big for my taste (weren't you able to move at least the one?;-)
regards
Lukasz

Hi Micky,

Got a spare seat in the van ..... you would just have to get your butt over here. But then i would love to be over there. Ya just never know. I am dreaming of flying to NZ to some more of the same.

wow! great landscape shot!! it seems you were very lucky to capture such great lighting... the strong light really accentuates the bales of hay and gives them a rather 3D appearance! and of course the sky is spectacular, great mix of types and color of clouds! really beautiful all together! well done! Kessia

Another breathtaking shot from this series. Superb lighting and colors, the composition is somewhat less strong than in the last one because my eyes dont find something leading them into the scene.

Hi Tim,SUPER work, love the saturation, it really works well for this image.you were lucky to find a place to stop to catch the magic light at the right moment.Good balance of the direct complimentary colours with just that little green touch to pull it altogether. Will be great on canvas.
You lucky so and so living out of a van and just painting and photographing, that is the life I dream about:)
Cheers Micky

Fabulous, the clouds are very surreal, you feel like you can reach out and move them, and the light is super!

Ciprian

Hi Tim

Superb piece of saturated artwork...especially the cloud structure. Maybe a little less is needed on the bale and green areas...but I'm going through a "saturated color" experiment at the moment so this is of great appeal to me...well done.

Hi John,
Yup, still traveling .... looking for another cool place to settle down in, for the coming winter. I am living out of my van now for a month, all the while painting and shooting digital film.

Love the title Tim. Puts it into perspective. You are really going for that saturated look in your photos these days. You still travelling? Regards John

Also this one are great! The light are incredible, together with your excellent composition.... such lovely clouds. For a landscape shot clouds are more interesting then a clear blue sky.
