This is how a butterfly should be taken, Dave. The quality from the Canadian photographers, I've viewed today, has been amazing. The sharp detail you've captured here, is startling. a superb macro, with a fine blurring of the background.
Manitoba must be beautiful. An unreserved seven.

A wonderful macro image of this skipper butterfly Dave! The composition, focus and colors are excellent! The tongues on butterflies amaze me! This one has it's tongue stuck right into that flower! :)

It sure looks big here. You must have been millimeters away. It's amazingly sharp for having been shot through three closeup lenses. Awe inspiring work.
