Hi Roger, yes i am traveling . But with my laptop i manage to find "hot Spots" where i can connect to the internet via WiFi connections. That means through wireless routers in just about every city and small town. So i check what is happening on Usefilm every once and awhile.

Tim, I thought you would be traveling and off the Internet, so I haven't been commenting on the beautiful work you are posting. Thanks for your comments... I'll return the compliment RSN. (real soon now!). Glad you like this one. It's one of my OWN favourites...

Hi, Chris! I'm thinking of getting a camera that takes square (6 x 6cm) negatives... "What?" I can hear you saying, "ANOTHER camera?" My thinking is that I might as well enjoy the very best of film while it's still available to be enjoyed... I'm only playing with the idea of getting a DSLR, not seriously thinking of it. I'd lose too much of the wide-angle end of things thanks to that 1.5:1 restriction of the field-of-view.

Hi Roger. Actually, I do find the art quite interesting. However, I will agree that it does not look like what I might expect of Japanese art. It has an Egyptian flare, sort of. Mary

What an impressive #bas relief' that is, I guess when you go somewhere all the while it just gets familiar - great shot Margaret

Great to see you trying the square format, Roger. I think it works very well here! The art work in the background looks great! Best regards, Chris

You like it, Mary? I'm not impressed and would happily ignore it along with everyone else . Of course it's tons better than a blank wall, and I appreciate it for that. But it looks like a kind of "capitalist realism" to me, you know, like the "socialist realism" the Soviet Union used to have?

What wonderful art work. It's too bad that we sometimes take things for granted when we should take a moment to appreciate their beauty. Superb shot, Roger. MAry

These Japanese street scenes of everyday life are excellent. You certainly know how to catch the scene.
