Thanks Roby - City Hall is worth checking out if you're ever in London. When the public observation deck is open, there are stunning views across London, aswell as up and down the Thames.

Thanks. It is a very cool building, one of my favourites of Foster's recent London projects (havent been able to get inside Swiss Re yet). The basement level has a huge aerial photo of the whole of Greater London...printed on rubber floor tiles. Everyone was on their hands & knees, trying to pin point their house or street :) The cafe looks outside onto a sort of sunken ampetheatre, from there if you look up the view is only sky.

Thanks Chris. This crazy spiral staircase descends the full height of the interior, from the 300 degree (approx) circular viewing gallery at roof level to the Mayor's huge circular assembly table on ground floor...there are just no straight lines.
