Margaret, thanks. I have been trying to get a shot like this for ages. This was my only one with both birds clearly in focus and the positioning was near perfect. I shot this landscape and cropped to this format.

What a wonderful image - to get them so well defined.
Red Kites are now a regular sighting near us (Berkshire), but they are the imported ones as opposed to the native ones still found in Wales.
