I have always wanted to go to New Mexico and I am thinking next summer break I may do just that! This is such a gorgeous image! I love the pastels and the ripples in the sand! An excellent capture you have made here! :)

hey matt, thank you for your kind comment, this place looks so much like the artic, i have images of it with just the sand in front of the mountains and the sand is so white, almost whiter than snow... thanks again for viewing my work

Hi Phillip.
Nice shot.I like the way that you placed the vegetation in the frame, and the pastels.
It's amazing how the desert and the arctic are visually quite alike.

Hola Phillip, estoy mirando tus fotografías, y son pura poesía, igual que tus comentarios sobre mis fotos.
Muchas gracias.

Phillip I think this is a lovely composition, the delicacy of the colours, especially in the pinky clouds - the ripples that could be sea or sand and the weed in the corner- really excellent. I think for me maybe the border is a little heavy for the beauty of the image, I tried a lighter drop shadow one, [which I will attach] and a black border as you have got but much thinner - see what you think ....
