This photo was taken while I was having a drink in Cartagena. The woman was sitting on a chair, holding her kids. I sow her and thought what an interesting image. Hope you all find it as interesting as I found it.
Thanks, yes. I see the resemblance between the US photo shot during the depression. I know the photo, that is an incredible photo. I can see in her face desperation, lack of hope, a sight of problems ahead. I shot this one in Cartagena, this is, in my opinion, a typical Colombian Caribbean family, one in which the mother has to take care. Thanks for your comments.
Quite interesting indeed... Reminds me of the US... ;( Single women with children... They grow up to be gang bangers, or worse... :( I hope you don't mind but I cropped out the obtrusive forground... ;)
