Ann, congratulations on your Staff's Choice award. I received mine for the first image I displayed on the site. At the time, I did not realise how rare this award is!
Ann, this is a lovely image! I feel we really take these wonderful animals to much for granted!
We had a pet one, just like this, called 'Bucky'. My brother rescued it from its mother's pouch, just after it had been killed by a car. For the first few months it lived in a heshion bag, hanging from the laundry door handle. We bottle fed it, just like a baby. It gave us many months of pleasure and friendship, before we donated it to Taronga Park Zoo, in Sydney. It just got too large to come into the house anymore! LOL
Once again, congratulations on your award!
