This wonderful floral macro just jumps straight out of your front page, Lea. It is truly beautiful, the colours, the textures, the details, the great DOF you achieved.

The composition is simple but very effective.

Lea this is lovely, the yellow part is nicely detailed and sharp and the petals a great combination of soft pink almost blurry - but with definite edges to the petals and excellent composition and many congrats on well deserved award

A truly gorgeous macro. I've given up on macros with standard lenses, but have a bid out on a macro lens right now. I'd love to think I might take beauties like this if I win the lens!

One of the most beautiful flower shot I have seen recently, I like the cropping and the soft colors. well done!

I love the soft delicacy of the petals on this shot Lea. You've captured the central portion very sharply but have been knowledgeable enough not to reduce the dof to the point where the wonderful delicacy of the petals has been compromised. The effect of the light on the petals is to almost make them look painted.... Wonderful!
