My goodness Robert. I've neve seen an image with so many comments on it. I can see why though as this is a very strong and powerful image. It has most unusual lighting but that's what makes this image so effective. A belated and hearty Congratulations for this award. A beautiful image.

A wonderful country and flowers, mate!
Wonderful work with the wide angle and a great small dof. I love the colors - the blue and white/ gray tones are standing in a fine contrast. Maybe it can symbolize the hope with the blue color :)

A volte bisogna cambiare i punti di vista per non rendere banale quello che ai nostri occhi sembra soltanto banale!
UN bellissimo punto di ripresa!
Bellissima anche la profondità di campo che aiuta a staccare la margherita da tutto il resto, conferendole ancora di più importanza.
Bellissimi i colori, avvolti nella nebbia e nel mistero. Colori appena accennati come a rendere surreale l'immagine!
Perfetta la linea guida dello stelo che punta dritta ai petali così belli e così aperti a quello che succede in superficie!

There is so much to say about this shot, Roberto. First of all, I have admiration for someone who will "get down" and sacrifice their clean knees, in order to get a phenomenal shot like this! The way that you composed this, with the flower coming up from the lower corner, and crossing diagonally across the frame, is just perfect. PERFECTLY balanced.. The understated lighting on the subject, with the heavenly background is stunning! It is an overall visual treat. Into my faves.
May I add (without sounding too much like a butt-muncher) that I am completely humbled by your generous comments. Of course, I enjoy the nice comments that everyone leaves.... but I am particularly pleased when someone of your caliber takes note of my work. Waooow, i really like this shot. Amazing composition and really really nice colours. There aren't too many colours witch is great, makes the photo serious and dramatic. The lower point of view is wonderfull, makes the light fall trough the leaves and makes the background, the blue and cloudy sky, an original one! I like the little yellow band in the flower, excellent job!

Il BKG sfuocato è il fulcro dell'immagine secondo me.
Se non l'avessi incluso nella foto, isolando solo il fiore con i petali, non avrebbe avuto la stessa forza, la stessa potente drammaticità.

Ciao Roberto, finalmente, era tempo che non si vedeva una tua immagine, vedo che usiamo la stessa pellicola, siamo rimasti in pochi.....
Anche se generalmente le foto di fiori non mi attirano molto, debbo dire che questa e' una bella immagine che va alla rireca di una prospettiva inusuale, quasi bianco e nero, i petali sono molto belli. Insomma una bella immagine.

mi piace tantissimo roby, mi piace come hai cercato la luce, creando questa sorta di controluce.. mi piace il fatto che il giallo che si intravede sembra il sole nascosto....
mi piae questya divisione del cielo, da una parte con l'azzurro estivo e dall'altra col grigio freddo...
mi piaccio io che sono arrivata prima a commentare uan tua foto... che mica è cosa semplice, visto la fila di gente che c'è dietro!!!
