I think you are right that there are several sections of this photograph that would make a pleasing photgraph. Indeed a panoramic camera probably would have served best as the lateral extent of the cirque of mountains exceeded the boundaries of the image originally portrayed and may well have given even more impact.

Love view of the wilderness Scotland. I love the feeling of wide open space and loneliness. Beautiful composition and colours... I can almost see the Haggis's running around the hills!
