About
Minimal DOF again - this time by dramatically underexposing and then bringing the colors out with a level balance.

I love minimal dof! The colors here are so vibrant, almost like underwater colors, emphasized by the blurriness.

Angelo: The under exposure was probably at least 3 stops. Not intentional, but an interesting mistake.

Very interesting idea and beautiful final effect. Well done, Alex

Interesting technique, Michael. The results are quite pleasant. How much was the under-exposure by, out of interest?

I agree with Kevin, I didnt know what to think when I first saw the picture, until I read his comment that it was titled, "wings." Very nicely done, good eye.

When I saw the thumbnail, I was like, 'cool, a dof shot of a fern!' But when I opened it, I realize why it was called wings. The focus so sharply centered on those two leaves make them look like angels wings, and the rest of the image fades away. Very nice, and excellent execution! -Kevin
