The foreground is a lot better and the image appears a bit sharper too. Like the last image which you did the same experiment with, I decided to leave it in colour becaus eteh yello and blue were too good to leave out. Plus I felt the portfolio was becoming a little too B&W. I will admit to being a lot like you - I get agreat clour image and I have to convert it, then I cant make up my mind which one I prefer!

I love the harmony of sky and land forms and lines here, and the feeling of vastness and space you convey here. Because of the aesthetic appeal of the composition I was tempted to try a B&W, and I tried out a red filter for the sky and a green filter high contrast lowkey for the land. I think B&W brings out the foreground a tad better - what do you think ?

Huh, the trees were added, eh? Wouldn't have guessed - good job there. Looks like you got an ND grad on the sky - methinks if it was brought down just a little further you wouldn't get that section of sky right around the horizon that's more washed out than the rest. Definately liking the overall composition though - pretty close to perfect!
