Thanks Jog - I have others that are more close-up but all still in raw. This was taken direct with jpg setting. The close-up ones will be uploaded in due course - this one shows more of the detail of what he does i thought...

And yes - u should have been there too....

Great portrait Tjaart. The detail is stunning. I would crop it closer for a more intimate perspective and to better show the skin detail and that of the cloack, hand and headgear. Well done.

Hi Riny, dankie.... Dit is die meester stok waarmee hy al die ander vuurmaakhout (vasgemaak in n bondel) mee optel en oor sy skouer dra. Hy kon glad nie engels verstaan nie en nog minder afrikaans. Hoe meer ek hom gevra het om te glimlag, hoe ernstiger het sy uitdrukking verander....
