Ellen - Thank you for your so very kind words. I am flattered that you think they are good - but don't give up your teaching position yet - I still have so much to learn! Jan

My gosh Jan I'm speechless your last three shots are masterfully composed and lighted. I'm going to have to get tips from you now. Stunned and delighted, Ellen

Lisa - Thank you so very much - if you photograph flowers as beautifully as you capture the sea and sky - I can hardly wait to see your uploads. Here are wishes coming your way for perfect skies and temperature - Hate the thought of anyone out there cooking in 110 degrees like it is here. LOL Jan

In the Glow of the Light - first, what a beautiful title and it fits the description of the photo perfectly. The lighting and the off centerness of the flower is perfect. I've been inspired by your images to take a trip to the local Botanical Gardens in my area. I hope to capture the beauty of flowers as brillantly as you do.

Thanks Laurie - would have been even more outstanding if I could have gotten rid of the green in the background without changing the color of the blossom. Oh well.
