Everything about this picture is great.
A fantastic sunset and I like the silhouette of the zebras.
I only wish I could get a coyote howling in a setting like this.
My Complements.

.....great shot..I've been trying to take a shot like yours with a male deer.....but where I live it's very difficult to find such a beautiful sunset like this....quite impossible to take a deer in this location....with compliment Fabrizio

Thanks for your comment Ian. You can read my reply to Pat Ziegler to see how this shot came about.

Thanks Pat. We had been set up to shoot the sunset with an acacia on the horizon. The attachment here is the one shot of the sequence that I kept. (I don't particularly like the jumble of zebras.) After the sun touched the horizon, generally the latest you want to shoot a sunset with the sun still in the shot, I was looking around to see if there was anything else available, and saw the two zebras nicely isolated on the horizon. (The two on the left of the attached shot may be them.) So, we backed up our vehicle maybe 30 or 50 yds (We were parallel with the horizon.) until the zebra that had its head up was in front of the sun, and voila --- an awesome shot! After we shot the zebra, we pulled forward again to shoot the tree w/o the sun and with just the wonderful red sky. The jumble of zebras was still at the base of the tree, so the shot is not as nice as I'd like it to be.

Very cool, I allway like to know how a photo came to be. Did you have to move into position to get this or was it one of those where you look up and, Wow look at that!

Terrific exposure and composition!

Great capture. The shadow of the Zebra adds well to this composition.

Classic African sunset. You must have been delighted when this presented itself for you to capture although at that focal length you had a lot to do to get it so right.
