About Here we see the shrine the signmaker has made to conjugal love. It's grown quite a bit since I last saw it, shortly after he first created it.

Fascinating! I really can't believe that such places still exist!!!The wood and the lettering make the shrine a piece of art!!! What a find!

Roger, the only thing I don't like about this photo you can't control - it really needs to be larger. What an amazing amount of color and detail, and everything fits - the signs, the trees, the building, the rocks. Nice catch!

Thanks very much for your kind comment on "Fire."

I think I like this one the best Roger..I like the tones better here. Sure are a lot of things to look at..I guess instead of window shopping you go wall shopping here...Very interesting image...:):)Linda

Agree about the hole, Bertram. I was tempted to fill it with cloned greenery, but shook off the temptation!

This is the one I like most , incredibly clear and sharp, looks more as a 120 neg film at 200 on my monitor than 35mm and 800 !
As Chris I find thewhite hole at the rhs a bit sad, maybe I#d try too to crop it to a square format.

Difficult, Chris, and of course I had exactly the same reaction to that bright "hole" at the upper right as you. But the signs at lower right, though meaningless in the Usefilm context, are hard to throw away for what they say in Japanese... So I guess it has to stay as it is. Think of it as a wart!

Unbelievable!!
Great detail, as ever, Roger!
Best regards, Chris
P.S. I find the top right corner a little distracting. I was wondering how important the bottom right corner was? Perhaps crop to a square?

Roger A really interesting triptych I like this one the best, it looks like the little shop is carved out of the tree itself, - fascinating

Yep, i'll definately call that a shrine of signs!! He even included the trees as part of his shrine!
