Hey I'll take any of the above!!! But we forgot cometlit !!!!!!! Okay how about this for an astronomers paradise! A naked eye comet during an aurora and meteor shower, At the time of a lunar eclipse.... okay I'm pushing it ;o)

Very effictive. My first thought was that it was that long light just before sunset. Nice job - you get an "A" for creativity.

Yeah, we need some more good dark skies :)) I'm already missing it too. But I'm sure we'll get many chances to get out there over the course of the summer. Man, I just can't wait for the Perseids!! Take care.

Hi Pierre,
Another great composition! I like the light painting you did. It changes to whole feel of the photograph, and adds an eerie feel to it.
Looking at all these great astrophotos is really making me pine for some time under some dark skys!!! Or should I say starlit skys!
