Thanks for the comment Randy, yes background is natural - just a grass meadow, although I did pass the background through NeatImage, which tends to blur common colours together.

Great shot Steve. His wire perch is perfect accent to composition. Great clarity. Is green background natural result from DOF or blurred afterward? Even though he didn't turn around, you still captured his eye and beak, and we get a good view of it's plumage.Randy
