About This picture reminds me of basketball players--the way they can hold the ball up on a finger and twirl it. It looks like the tree is doing that.
OR maybe I just have an overactive imagination.

Impressive effect Mary, I like that cirqle you put there, that is really a great and unique sunlight flare on the lens, the effect works perfectly, especialy as the cirqle goes into the darker areas of your photo and makes a so nice composition down there, filling up nicely your empty space!
PERFECT!
best regards Mary!

The person doing it is you, dear Mary, because you saw and captured this magificent photo. I don't think you have an overactive imaginationin the conotation you meant it, but you do have a very well developed one to see and capture this photo. I'd like to add that I had to go way back and scoll all the way down to find a photo of yours I had not commented on before.
Thank you for your very generous comment on my "Since 1492" and its "about."
Best regards,
Rafi

Dottie, here is the link to the picture by Bill Voizin where he answered my question about how to do the framing he uses for a lot of his pictures. After I paste back in, I find I need to move to the picture some to get it lined back up again. I just did the same thing, but in one section of the picture instead of the whole outside as for a regular frame.

Dottie, so you don't like the picture, you just want to know how I did it?? Just kidding. Do you use PS? If so, I'll pass on the info. Bill Viozin told me how to do this kind of framing after I asked him as I enjoyed it so much with his flowers.

Hey Bob, the highlighting circle was just something I tried for a little difference. You don't have to like it and certainly don't have to say 'sorry' for stating you'd like the picture better without it. But, it tells you are a considerate man.

Janice, thanks for your comment. Well, the circle thing has got mixed comments. But, I just thought I'd try something a little different. Anyway, you do know how to do it. The same as the frames. Just use the eliptical marque tool instead of the rectangular one and place it around a part of the picture instead of the outside as a frame.

Overactive imaginations - lead to all sorts of fun and joy and creativity - carry on [I say that as one who gets carried away with 'seeing things' and playing around with images]

WOW Mary - what a shot and beautifully presented. I like the way you have PS'd it with the circle (another how did you do that?) so that your eyes are drawn to the sun and the silhouettes of the trees. It does look like the tree is reaching up to grab the sun. Well done. Jan
