That discipline, having to think carefully before each shot, is a great teacher. It will increase the proportion of "good" shots you get whatever type of camera you use in the future. You are fortunate to have a model with such fine and expressive features. And don't listen to those who talk about higher cost per shot! Think of all the money you saved NOT buying a digital camera that will only last a few years! (Few will be still working after 65 years, like your Rollieflex.)

Hiya Bea, I'm soo happy you like my first attempts! Its really exciting to use the Rollei and its true that 12 shots makes you focus and think before pushing the button. it brings photography back to its most basic essence. Its a great thing about Usefilm that like minded photographers can meet and inspire each other from across the world! Omar

This is a very fine portrait. And you are right about the camera and how it affects the work. For another (good) thing, the twin-lens design makes your usual angle of view considerably lower than a regular viewfinder. That can sometimes make a big differece in how you see and even what you see. Have fun with a great camera! Cheers, --George

Yes, in a way it can be a rewarding restriction to have less frames on a roll (and also higher cost per shot). I like your composition very much - it seems it tells a story (to be supplied by the viewer) about her relation to that cup of morning coffee.
