Very nice shot Dave, I like a lot the red chairs here, that color composed well with the enviroment because of the high contrast it has with the other softer colors there are here, nice fence too, I'd love to have a coffee at a shop like that one on a sunny day...

Looking for a photo of yours I had not yet commented on, I found this hidden gem. Composition, colors, everything is just right, a pleasure for the observing eye. The elongated bells hanging from the gate, we have very similar ones at home.
Thank you, Dave, for you very king, generous comments on my "Greet cut glass", my "Legless beggar" and especially the flagged comment on my "Bonsai tree, reflected." I've never had a flagged comment before.

Nice subject, and the shadow of the gateway is captured nicely within the gate. The objects behind the gate reduce the impact of the fancy dark gateway though, especially the umbrella. I think I would have passed on capturing the shadow and gone for a better background for the gateway. Maybe you could go by here again at a time when the light would allow you to get both the shadow and a better background.

Hi Jim, thanks for the comment! Probably you're referring to the Osborne Village area from the '81 era. Since then there's been several other areas in the city that have been developed that way, each with their own unique flavour, the St. Boniface one being, of course, French.
