Dear Amanda,

It's exactly what I felt here. Sometimes the default must not stop to expose an idea or a feeling especially when it has impact and meaning.
You just touch the interesting subject : surprise, and wishes to catch a strange flying object...

Keep catching

I think including the legs in the frame would have more impact in the composition, but this is still very lovely. I love the way you have caught the child fascinated by the pigeons.

Beautiful composition with great DOF. Just as everyone els has mentioned, the legs would add more to the pictures. Keep up the good work.

Dear Arwa,

As Davide wrote I agree the legs should add great impact. Definitively, I agree.
Meanwhile this shoot was taken with my hand more than with my eyes. The choice was clear between stopping, putting my eye ready, set up aperture and speed, and having this slice of life. My habit to use 50 mm size...
I hesitate to put it in my portfolio but was sure it would open area of discussions and exchange.

Take Care

Abu Bakr

A precious image!!!!
I love everything about it! the flying bird on the top left corner, the pattern that the flooring is creating, the details in the childs jacket
And especially the way you managed to show how small the child is! The scale is so clear by comparing the childs size to the birds and the chairs!
Wonderful tones and contrast
Wish the childs feet were included tho
