About	Taken August 31, 2004 on a very cloudy, overcast, and cool day in northern Arizona. (Nice change from our sunny and 100+ temp down in Phoenix) The view is looking west towards the Grand Canyon and you can get to the North Rim from this area of AZ.

Yes, I lived in Virginia after we got back from England - from 1958 to 1965. Alexandria and Arlington to be exact. Went to George Washington HS for 2 years and graduated after attending my last 2 years at Wakefield HS. I'm dating myself, but graduated in 1962. Really miss the DC area during the spring and the fall. I have fond memories of Cherry Blossom time and drives along the Shenandoah during the fall.

First let me say this is beautiful photo. I like it very much. I was raised in Kansas where seeing such storms was not uncommon so this brings back youthful memories. Too many trees in Va. to see such approaching rains now. In a kind comment to me you mentioned Va. Did you live here at one time? Del.

Thanks - I managed to get a fairly decent shot and we avoided getting caught in a downpour. We're dry here in AZ, but we do get some gully-washers and heavy rains.
