About I uploaded similar photos from the Yellow Mountains previously, but the weather on that day wasn't good. The day I took these photos, the weather was as about as nice as it could be.

These locks represent love, or anything else you want them to represent. The tradition is to buy a lock, have something engraved on it, including the date you bought it, lock it to one of the chains on the mountain and throw the keys over the edge.

I bought a lock and put it onto the chain in rememberance of my mother, who passed away one year ago.

Excellent pic, nice story!James, your photo recalls my memory of touring in Huangshan. I also bought one, locked in the chain, and threw the key over the edge. And then,I believed that the whole mountain will bless my family.^-^
All the locks reprensent prayer's nice desire.

Hi James, Great series of lock photos. Thanks for giving us the story about the locks. I think I like this image the best. I like the depth of field and the brighness and crispness of the locks. Nicely done. -- Naomi

Wonderful dof, the photo has such beautiful depth to it. I love the theory of these locks it's a very nice way to honor something.
This reminds me of an episode of a TV show (the amazing race), they were at this spot and the task was to get a key and try all of the locks until the one opened, regardless to say it was a very long task. :) Alison

Hi James, excellent detail, showing part, but leaving the rest to the viewers imagination (well, except for the complete story in "locks" that is....) There's still a slight strip of the pole visible on the left, but that's only a minor detail. The tonal range and lighting as wel las the DOF are very well captured. Good shot!

Cheers,

Hugo
