Wonderful virtual abstract. The strong color really enhances the effectiveness of the good composition.

Best wishes,

Hi AJ, There's a wider use, I think, but the subject needs to be able to support it. I think they do serve a purpose with the rougher subjects. I have used it on a couple occasions too, but with entirely different subjects. But frames are difficult I think. Bottom line is that solely depends on the image it needs to support.

Cheers,

Hugo

Many thanks, Hugo. I appreciate your comment especially as I am still wondering about this frame - I am very happy with it for my recent CD series but am still undecided about its wider use.

Hi AJ, Very solid shot and composition, and I think the heavy frame does do justice to the subject. I like the combination of colours, as well as the level of saturation here. Wouldn't worry too much about the bits of cable, as they are part of the structure, I think they add a sense of reality to the theme. Very creative composition, too. I like this one a lot.

Cheers,

Hugo
