Actually, this is Plum Island in Massachusetts. Beautiful place to visit, there is no animal disease testing going on there. This photo was taken at the mouth of the Merrimack River.

excellent picture frank, techinically it is spot on. the only thing that bothers me is the lighthouse/lifeguard structure on the extreme right. i am sure you successfully composed it such that the tree trunk points in that direction, but i think the tree itself is such a powerfull subject that the structure becomes a little distracting. just PS the structure out and you will notice that you dont miss it. great shot neverthless. my compliments

Great wide angle Frank! I like the contrast. The white caps are on the verge of being over exposed. But none the less a very eye catching photo!
