Oh, no offense taken either...
He has seen my work and has even asked me questions on how to do stuff. He has been in business for a looooong time, kind of old school, but still does good work.
Anyway....

Hi Pat,
It looked funny to me also. But I wasn't trying to cover anything up but the border . Now on his shot the border was not there but see , with the camera he has he doesn't have to stand back to get it all in then crop and clone. Biiig diff in cams.
On the background. I choose that....he did not want to use it but I did so we did. It's ok, lesson learned. I can only hope to get better by comments like this and by learning from being on a job like that. He did teach me about lighting and props but he did let me have my way when it came to the pics since it was my son.
Anyway, yes you showed me there was obvious cloning, but you have pointed that out to me before, when I have over cloned so that is the way I took it. As far as his name being on the pic, those were done that day and he sends his work off , therefore it was not there. He let me take that one.
Peta was just a bit out of line accusing me of that as far as I am concerned. I took offense to it. You would have also and so would she if someone said that about your work, or her's. Critisize my work all you want and hate it even but don't accuse me of being dishonest unless you know me well enough to do so. Know what I mean? It was an unfair statement, plain and simple.
Anyway, its done and over with it. Let us move on.

Hi Rona. Not to take sides here, but it is understandable.

THe only part of the image that was visibly cloned is where photographers usually sign their work. I spotted the cloning before Peta did, so I guess it's my fault that I brought it to people's attention. I always spot retouches, and to tell u the truth, it did look weird.

No offense, but the picture is not that great like to want to claim it as your own, if it wasn't.
If this was a "professional" setup, this photographer shouldn't be charging money for this... The background is horrible and the "props" are cheap looking... But then again. Maybe that is the usual and people don't know any better or want to pay more money or maybe he has to do 500 photos of 500 different groups in 1 hour so he doesn't care. I don't know...

Hope u don't take it the wrong way.

Cheers

Pat

Nice Jeff thank you. I had one before these but reworked it. Lets just say I was accused of something with the first one I posted. Anyway, not worth going into. Just makes me realize how people can really be.
Thanks though, your comments are always a big welcome.

Rona, nice job. The whites it the tuxes are a bit blown out, lost some detail. The detail is there in the original. See attachment done from the original.
