About Once again no PS except for cropping and framing. This is a vodka glass placed on a CD with a light shone at it. Incidentally, several people have asked about the different light patterns of previous postings. A slight shift in the lamp can produce a very different result, and at particular angles can produce an intense blast of reflected light rather than the more typical rainbows. That?s what?s happened here.

And that?s it: mission accomplished in Poland and I?m off back to Tarifa for a week or two. Many thanks to all of you who have inspired me and encouraged me with this series. While I have clearly copied ideas from a number of you, I hope that my interpretation has been sufficiently innovative for me to be able to call the results my own.

All the best
AJ

I like this one a lot. The dark in contrast to the extreme light is excellent. Love the use of a vodka glass for added interest and light source. Well done!
Thanks for the comment on "Skimmers"

Very creative AJ. Beautiful colours and angle. I like the wya you used the DoF (or lack there-off) to fade the glass into the CD. Great work.

Great abstract! I think you have brought your personal style into this series! it's great to see similar themes presented by different people, Even Picasso and Braque are very different works despite using the same philosophies! very nice series!!! -- Kind regards, Rafael

This is another surprising and effective composition. I admire your ingenuity and creativity in this series, but mostly I like the careening color of the images. Congrats . . .

Best regards,
--George

Many thanks for your kind comments, Jimmy. I was in two minds about this one, but when it first popped up on my screen it put images in my mind of some sort of space module leaving a planet after completing a mission. So it fits in perfectly with the message I wanted to convey here. I'm sure I'll have more CD shots soon as I have various ideas in mind, but this is the last one from the current session.

I like all your cd shots, AJ. It's a hard choice but I think I like this one best. There is probably a thousand photos in every cd. I think you can call the results of each of your photos your very own. One of the things I like about this site is the exchange of ideas and the inspiration one can find here.
