Thankyou Rafael. I took many shots at the cotton farm...but probably because I am very picky, I wasn't happy with many of them. This one however passed the test....LOL!!

I see by one of your notes to someone re this picture that you added the light behind the plants after the picture was taken. So, now I understand; it's not the sun taken ion your picture.

Lovely, Judi. I really like the way the light comes through the plants. I do have a question--this is sunrise, right. Is that the Moon near the top?

Actually I did not dare handover the camera to my friends who were busy getting drenched in water colours. Im very protective about the camera, its 9 years old now, but still my favourite. I guess thats why you didnt see my pics. My face was painted grak green by my friends and the young gang you saw in the pics.

So absolutely beautiful and an instant favorite. The foliage appears like a gathering of fairies celebrating the end of yet another day-time to come out and play under moon's glow. Just love the toning you have done on this also, classic~

Always fantastic, MAGICAL Judi!!!

Elizabeth...welcome to Usefilm. You can view previous comments on any image just by scrolling down the page.

With this image the horizon isn't actually in the picture. These are only the tops of the plants. I did it that way to eliminate the crop of cotton behind these plants. The spot at the top is the actual moon. I took this image at 6-11 am. The white flare in the middle was added later. I liked the effect of it as it highlighted the middle plants.

I hope this has helped.
