Bird pictures? you?re the best!!! No question!!! Nature pictures are not a natural field of interest for me Marcus, but as limited a connoisseur of the genre as I am I really admire the work you do. You consistently put out the good stuff my friend - beautiful sensibility and professionalism in all your images.
- I often visit and admire even if I don?t always comment ;).
My regards.

Another great capture, you make it look so easy with all of your photos, but it takes a lot of patience and practice to do what you do so well.

Deb Mayes   {K:19605} 3/29/2005
Marcus, I may prefer off-center shots, but I personally would probably resort to cropping to get them to fly into the frame. These guys are quick, and the first job is keeping them in focus hehehe. ;) You do superb work, don't change a thing.

Marcus Armani Marcus Armani   {K:36599} 3/29/2005
Thanks Deb, I know how you dislike totaly centered shots, I am trying to keep them flying into, but its not always easy with these ...
Thanks again...

Hi G, For birds in flight I always use AI Servo and shoot in continuous bursts, I try to track the bird with the AI Servo and get off as many shots as possible....
Thanks Gino...

  0

Gino  Quattrocchi   {K:39580} 3/29/2005
Your technique for me is the school
I am one student of yours now
I will try to make captures as yours
Do you use AI SERVO or ONE SHOT ??

  0

Marcus Armani Marcus Armani   {K:36599} 3/29/2005
yea steve i agree, I was working on it and relized the background was way too soft for the sharp bird, but still liked it so I went with it..
Thanks .....

Wow wicked shot Marcus. I am amazed that you managed to catch this cool little guy ..... your bird shots are stunning.

Steve Hennerley   {K:5776} 3/29/2005
Hi Marcus...

Another fantastic pin sharp bird-in-flight shot. awesome work.

There seems something 'strange' with the bg - I think possibly the perspective of the 'waves' feels wrong.. not this this detracts from the image too much though

Awesome capture though ... as always :)

Best regards

Steve
