About using an old trick I learned from Lee Harris, I took the afternoon off today and went looking for Owls. saw 2 (Two) It was really sparce. this on was hidding back in some spruce trees but I managed to see him and get a few shots.

Actually I went to work late,I had Business in Duluth, announced I'd be gone, went down town got my sub sandwich, gas, returned to work , packed up and left. Its called 1/2 vacation day. Good thing to , because the Owls look like they might be moving back to Canada, Might make a fast trip tomorrow to check em out but only saw two today.

Nice....great eye seeing him Jim.....so the old trick you used was calling in sick ? :) lol
Jim I would be in seventh heaven with just two owls .....this shot had to be a bit tricky to keep the focus point on the owl. you did a great job...keep em coming.
