Hi Sally, Thank for your kind comment, Lighthouses are one of my favorite subjects They are a welcoming glow in the sea of darkness. I am fortunate to live in an area where we have access to 6 lighthouses with in 10 miles. Little Light, the one pictured above is my favorite, When I was a kid, the only railing was directly around the lighthouse, and we would dive off the left side of this jetty and swim round the lighthouse at full tide. At low tide the drop off the left side is about 35 feet to the rocks below, In 2003 The railing to the curve of the jetty was added. Best Regards, Sandra

Nice sharp photo, and I love the composition - I like the way the path leads your eye further into the picture!
You have lots of lighthouse pictures in your portfolio - do they have a special significance to you?

The dusting of snow makes this image all the more interesting as it highlights edges making the excellent composition beautifully clear. The focus is also nice and sharp, altogether a great, well constructed photo. David

Very nice crisp colours, Sandra! I like how the breakwater curves around to the lighthouse. Dave.
