a "kabuki" or "no" theater mask covering the face of one of my least celebrated folk tale heroes; I mean I was always on the side of the woolf ;-) here she is given to the flames and it is a great pleasure to see her suffering after remembering those ridiculous questions she was asking her grandmather... as if we didn't know what the tale was all about...
this is the very fisrt representation I've seen of little red riding hood that upgrades her to 1st class heroine; to a tragic figure that flames give her eternal redemption for being so hypocritically naive...
I like it a lot
