I never had toys like these when I was little. I would dream, actually dream that I had lots of toys. And I would get so angry when someone or something would wake me from my dream. I hope this little one will get to play all he wants now.

Hello Armando. Your idea is good and you could suggest it to the management here. But no, this was no toy cemetery. This was a real cemetery and this was by the grave of a child. The toys had been put there by his parents...they were this child's favourite toys, to keep him company.... other graves here were adorned by toys. there was even a 70 year old man with toys of when he was young....

First, I just happen to see this image on a thumbnail outside UF current images, and to me it's a very ordinary shot, like those point-and-shoot kids does. Then I saw 5 comments already, and made me wonder why... so I clicked on it and see myself. Then as i scan thru the pic, it still doesnt make sense, even the title didn't got me, to me it's still ordinary. Then I read the 5 comments below and I somehow understand the meaning, and read the title again and that moment, it STRUCK me like hell! I got goosebumps!!!
Oh! man, this image is so powerful, too bad I didnt get it the first time i saw it and read the title. But still the moment I understand it, it hit me as strong as death. I don't have a kid yet but I can feel the drama as deep as I can imagine! I give this a 7++++++++++++ rating!

Excellent pic and composition, but I wanted to know if it is really a cemetery of toys or toys that already nobody uses, because in my country and in many others are millions of poor children that would be very happy having toys like those, perhaps it would be a good Idea to make a campaign here in UF to donate every so often, Toys in disuse but under good conditions to make happy to the less fortunate children.
Perhaps we could make a countries list and the members would vote for the country of their election and it would be made arrive the toys perhaps through a parish to another or another institution of trust of the member representative of the winning country . I believe that it would be something good that we could make for thisChristmas and we would be giving a small help to Santa

I looked a the photo wihtout reading anything. I looked at it for a while and tried to figure out why I found it interesting. Having young kids I'm used to see those kind of toys every day.
The I read the title and it hit me like fist and my eyes became wet. I'm still having to fight it sitting here which happens rarely to me. For some reason it made the fear in me very real that one of my kids could die. As a parent those fears are always there but they are never so close. This photo slapped this horror vision right in my face.
Now I can't look at it any more without getting this fist hitting me in the stomak ...
Very strong image!
